    Hello
To add to other suggestions, have a look at the Connexions website at http://www.connexions-direct.com/ – go to the link for ‘Learning’, then ‘Qualifications’ and scroll down to the section on NVQs. This will take you to lots of information including contact details for a local careers adviser. The adviser will be able to suggest appropriate routes into health support qualifications and employment and can also advise if any specific training schemes are in place locally.
If you would like some more information about the role of a health support worker, then have a look at this area of employment, through the careers ‘A – Z’ section at http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/.
I hope this is useful and wish you well in your future study and career.

Look up your local colleges on the net then look t the course they provide, as far as i am aware there are different types of health care course, establish which one it is you want to do. If you are working your employer may pay or provide the training for you and you do it in your own time. This may be something to consider if you are wanting to earn money.

Luton college should have a list of all NVQ courses, failing that try contacting GAP training on info@gap-training.co.uk

Contact the local colleges to see if they run such a course.

Try doing a search on the internet – there are lots of online courses in health care – or try the local college
