    check the name of ur motherboard and see on the website of the intel and search of ur motherborad and see the configuration of ur motherboard where u find that how much ram u can add to ur computer and othet essentils information u find there

    Find out what motherboard you have, go to th website and research it. If it is a name brand computer (Dell, HP, Compaq) go to their website. Look up the manuals or documents.

    They have a free tool that will tell you exactly what kind of ram and how much for your computer.
